چکیده:
In the search of a topological property which lies somewhere between compactness and Lindelöfness, we introduce the concept of statistical compactness in this paper. We have also searched for the preservation of statistical compactness under sub-space topology and open continuous surjection. Some finite intersection like properties are also addressed here.
